Toluca Lake is an affluent neighborhood in the city of Los Angeles, California. It has a cozy upscale village feel to it with a long list of celebrity owners from it's beginnings in the early 1900's to today. It's one of my favorite neighborhoods and I'm going to give you my top five reasons why I think Toluca Lake is a great place to live.

#1 Gorgeous Unique Homes. Toluca Lake is definitely not a cookie-cutter neighborhood. So many of the homes here are very
interesting architecturally and I think that's part of the reason why so many celebrities have been drawn to this area.

#2 Beautiful Tree-lined Streets. I think another reason is the beautiful tree-lined streets. A lot of the streets here in Toluca Lake are curvy and have tons of trees lining them. Perfect for dog walking or an evening stroll.

#3 Riverside Drive. Hungry? Thirsty? Want to shop? Well part of that quaint village feel is the pedestrian friendly Riverside Drive. Riverside Drive is a great place to enjoy a ton of restaurants and cute little boutique shops. 

#4 Enjoy the Holidays. Toluca Lake is a great place to celebrate the holidays. For Halloween, a lot of the residents go all out decorate their yards with lights and zombies and graveyards and all that stuff and if you do live here, just be prepared with a lot of candy because all the trick-or-treaters like to come to Toluca Lake. No joke!

#5 Centrally Located. Toluca Lake is located in the Southeast part of the San Fernando Valley next to Burbank, North Hollywood, Universal City, and Hollywood. It is very close to the Ventura Freeway and the Hollywood Freeway, which makes it easy access to get to Pasadena, Downtown LA and Hollywood.
